Jayson Tatum, Derrick White Lead Celtics to Sweep of Pacers

Jayson Tatum and Derrick White combined for 54 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 105-102 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, completing a four-game sweep of their first-round playoff series.

Tatum finished with a game-high 29 points, while White added 25 points off the bench. Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 22 points, and Tyrese Haliburton added 21 points.

The Celtics took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Pacers 32-19. White was a key contributor in the third, scoring 11 points and helping the Celtics build a 10-point lead.

The Pacers cut the lead to two points with just over two minutes remaining, but the Celtics held on for the win. Tatum made two free throws with 10.5 seconds remaining to give the Celtics a four-point lead, and the Pacers were unable to score on their final possession.

The Celtics will now face the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs. The Bucks are the defending NBA champions and are considered one of the favorites to win the title this year.
