Torres becomes the first signing under Xavi

Barcelona FC have completed the signing of Ferran Torres from Premier League club Manchester City for an initial fee of €55 million (£46.7 million).

The Spanish international winger, 21, has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract with the Catalan giants. He becomes the first signing under new Barca boss Xavi.

Torres, a product of Valencia's youth academy, joined Manchester City from Valencia in 2020 for a fee of £20 million.
