Saudi Pro League 2024-25: Ronaldo, Talisca on target as Al Nassr cruises past Al Ettifaq

Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca starred as Al Nassr secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League on Monday.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a simple tap-in from close range after being set up by Talisca.

Talisca doubled Al Nassr's lead in the 43rd minute with a stunning free-kick from the edge of the box.

Al Ettifaq pulled a goal back through Youssouf Niakhate in the 75th minute, but Al Nassr wrapped up the win in the 82nd minute through a Gautam Mubarak header.

The victory moves Al Nassr up to second place in the Saudi Pro League standings, two points behind leaders Al Hilal. Al Ettifaq remains in 10th place.

Ronaldo has now scored five goals in four league appearances for Al Nassr since joining the club from Manchester United in January. Talisca has also been in impressive form, scoring four goals in his last five games.

Al Nassr will be hoping to continue their good form when they face Al Shabab in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final on Thursday. Al Ettifaq will play Al Adalah in the league on Friday.
