The MacBook Pro Core i5 2.5 13-Inch Mid-2012 features a 22 nm Ivy Bridge 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor 3210M with two independent processor cores on a single silicon chip. It has a 3 MB Level 2 cache and a 4 MB Level 3 cache. The front side bus runs at 5 GTs, and the device comes with 8 GB of 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM PC3-12800 RAM.
You can upgrade the memory RAM to 8GB or 16GB. The Mid 2012 MacBook Pro supports up to 16GB of RAM using two 8GB kits. Both the Retina and non-Retina models support 16GB of RAM.
